Templeton Rye Pecan Sauce
(for pie, brownie or ice cream topping)
Ingredients
1 cup Half & Half or whipping cream
2 cups Granulated sugar
2 cups Water
2 cups Brown sugar
1 Pinch Salt
2 cups Templeton Rye
2 tsp. Vanilla
1.5 cups Pecans
Preparation Instructions
1. Scald the cream and set aside.
2. Combine water and sugar and boil until the
mixture turns golden brown.
3. Add brown sugar and salt.
4. Pour in cream and Templeton Rye and simmer until blended.
5. Add vanilla and pecans.
6. Serve on warm plates.
